longer double-edged blade with a rib, large axe and an elaborately cut hook, richly decorated, this type of halberd was carried by úersonal guards of princes in the 16th century, dated 1595 on the hook, large Habsburg coat-of-arms surrounded with an inscription "VICTORIA CURAM AMAT" on the axe, most probably used by halberdiers of Archduke Matthias, brother of Emperor Rudolph II, length 67 cm |
